Pentecost Sunday
Jesus told his disciples,
“And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:47-49)
On May 19th we celebrated Pentecost Sunday at Christian Life Center and enjoyed an extraordinary move of the Holy Ghost. Many people were filled to overflowing as the Spirit moved through the congregation. I spoke with one woman afterwards who told me, “This was absolutely wonderful!” She was a first time visitor at our church and the amazing thing was this, “She was 95 years old!” It wasn’t an accident that she came out to church for this great day.
This past Saturday we had a tremendous church outreach and passed out flyers to over 400 different families. We invited people out to enjoy a free hot dog, chips, and balloons for the kids and over fifty people showed up. It was a pleasure to meet so many good people in our community and invite them out to service. Sowing seed in the harvest pays great dividends because we had twenty-six visitors on Pentecost Sunday.
Our church is presently in the church to find a keyboard player for our Sunday services. If you would like to come to a growing church and help. Please contact us through our webpage or call the church office.
I’m looking forward to a great week and praying for God’s continual blessing on the many great people of Christian Life Center
